Another Still Life

Many a still life has been created within art's history. To me there is something very special about a vase of flowers, the form, colour, various foliages and the shape of the entire composition. This work came to life with the combination of colour, brush strokes and textures used with a palette knife and squeezing the tubes of paint around the canvas. I was delighted to see a shape of a heart was formed with my completed composition which speaks the sentiment by which a bunch of flowers is often given or purchased.
